Strategic Plan
As part of Pipitea’s commitment to continue to provide a high quality learning environment for the tamariki and community of Wellington, the Managment Committee, together with the wider incorporated society, work on a three year strategic plan. This provides overarching governance and direction to Pipitea’s operations and is reviewed annually. A copy is provided to all whānau.

Policies
Pipitea has numerous policies about a wide variety of topics such as settling into the centre, toileting and nappies, nutrition, medication, excursions, fees, and sleeping. Many of these are policies that we are required to have by the Ministry of Education, but some are additional policies that we have developed to ensure the smooth running of the centre. These policies are regularly reviewed by the Centre Manager and the Management Committee in consultation with whānau.

Pipitea’s Child Protection Policy is available here. All other policies are available both on Pipitea’s Educa site (see our communication page for more information on Educa) and in a folder kept in the office for whānau to read.
