Pipitea cares for a daily role of up to 29 tamariki (with a maximum of 10 under twos). Tamariki must attend for a minimum of three days a week.
Pipitea operates a waiting list and we recommend that you let us know about your childcare requirements well in advance. Many of our whānau put their tamariki on the waiting list prior to birth!
Although Pipitea has 29 places in total, there is always a great demand for quality childcare in the Wellington community. Places may not be available immediately or at specific times. Any vacancy that occurs is filled with respect to a number of factors. Places are not filled on a “first come, first served” basis.
Pipitea is currently full. In order to join the waiting list, prospective whānau must arrange a visit to make sure that Pipitea is the right fit for your whānau. Please contact us to arrange a visit.
After the visit, prospective whānau complete an application to be entered onto our waiting list. We limit the number of whānau on our waiting list because we endeavour to make sure that everyone on the list will eventually be given a place at Pipitea. We monitor the waiting list regularly to keep prospective whānau informed about upcoming availability.
